I had an original MB screen fitted about 3 years ago by Autoglass at no extra charge, it was done on my drive at home, no problems whatsoever.

I ordered my C63S estate last August and it was delivered 3 weeks ago, 3 month delay, the dealer kept the August trade in deal and gave me the next service free.

In the new ones there is no facility to tune in to stations, I think it does it automatically wherever you go.

What a numpty I feel, been out in the car today, first drive in two days and as if by magic all the stations are back, very odd.

No, I know that can cause problems, it receives about 10 stations all good clear reception, my old one had may be 25 plus all strong and clear.

Has anybody a clue to why the radio on my brand new W205 C63S doesn’t pick up as many stations as my last W205 C63, the signal strength where I live is very strong and all my radios in the house and my other car have no trouble.

Don’t get me wrong, it does sound very good and I do like it, my only reservation is that my non perf exhaust was certainly as loud if not louder especially on start up even when perf exhaust starts with valves open, new one is a different sound, deeper and more natural, it’s all down to...

I’ve seen that as well, don’t know if it’s just on the latest, not sure about the carbon fibre as well.

I’ve owned a w204 C63 bought from AMG dealer with 18’s and it was fitted with a new set of Nexen tyres, they were very good, grip maybe not as good as the premium brands but not far off, quiet and lasted forever, can’t fit 18’s on the S, brakes are too big.

That’s odd, the interior image has popped up from somewhere, I’ve tried a few times.

It does, but it’s only on the turbo housing not anywhere else, very odd, I’ll get to the bottom of it when I talk to the dealer next week.

I know, that’s what I thought, the Sport Maxx on my previous car were certainly quieter than Contis I had on previous C63’s but that was on the W204 model, I’m going to reduce pressures to 38psi front 35 rear, the new car always seems to come out of dealers with too high a pressure in my humble...

It could be a protective coating which gets burnt off with time, I’ve sent an image over to them, we’ll see what they say, they’re usually pretty good.
