You're right, the part number in the bay ad I thought might fit my car started with A204, I imagine the part i have on order is the one mentioned by Ian starting A219.

I gave that part number to Mercedes and they said it was for a C63, said it wouldn't fit my car due to different bumper attachments on the W219. At the end of the day who knows! I'll check the part number on my order when it arrives and see if it matches. In other news, new discs and pads going...

Spoke with Mercedes and the C63 plinth doesn't fit the CLS63 as they have different attachment points. They have had to order one from Germany. Cost is £113.

Cheers mate, do you have an idea of where i can get one other than from Mercedes. If not I'll just have to get it from them but £117 is a lot of money for what it is.

Yes, that is the concern. By comparing the pictures in the add to the one that is currently on the car they look identical but whether the curvature is the same difficult to perceive by eye. I have emailed the dealer but haven't had a response yet so thought i'd ask on here...

Sounds like you need a new header blower regulator. I had this problem on one of my previous cars (passenger side blowing hot air) and that was the culprit

It's a lovely car, I just wish they hadn't put this large wing mirrors on the facelift car.
