Ebay is your friend, most C and E class wheels should fit. I just got these 16s from Ebay, £76 quid, lots of tread, wheel bolts including locking bolts!

I had to get some wheels off the dreaded ebay as I was getting desperate for tyres, offered a few people £150 for a set but everyone seems to think they are worth far more....not quite sure why these were so cheap and no-one bidded, even these are cheap compared to what I though the "real" price...

Couple of years since my Coupe went, but I couldnt resist, and had to buy another MB. Family ways won over, so not another coupe, but quite a tidy C250D Elegance, same colour as my coupe was :) Just needs wheels, some tinting, and some better sounds :D Picture below, but 2 questions...

It had has/had nothing to do with anything, apart from styling, I see a few mercs with silly spoilers on the rear, those personally dont apeal to me. Just made the car look different, you dont wear the same style of clothes every day do you? :p

I am after some switches for a 93ish E class that have a central position, and switch either way from that. Mercman has found some rear blind switches, but is unable to confirm exactly how they work. Is someone here able to test one of these switches for me? (I did look in the haynes manual...

I run 235 / 45 / 17s on my 220CE, and they "just" clear. They did rub the FRONT of the plastic arch liner on one side, but it wasnt fitted properly. Now they dont rub. 225 / 45 / 17 is the "propper" size. My CE isnt lowered yet.

I require a centre console switch panel, that goes above the radio, and has the air dials, and the upper switches. I would like it "full" of switches, I presume high spec models have 7 switches, where mine has 3.... Only problem is that my car dosnt have AC, and I presume a high spec car will...

Thanks Koolvin, they are quite cheap for the 230CE box, lets see what price they do for the 220CE one (its different, it would be wouldnt it...)

I need a Sebring exhaust for my 220CE (93/94 model) Where can I get one "cheap"ish... Thanks - Geoff.

I used a chain type filter remover, from under the bonnet. Once the "cap" is off, the filter should be inside.

The 220CE (1993) has done 120,000. Oil pressure is at the top of the dial, even when hot at idle, all is fine (so far....) Our old S class (280SE, 1983?) had done 240,000? when I got rid, oil pressure about 1.5 hot/idle although the engine did smoke a little. My VW van is a 1958 (44 years...
