They are a little rattley. I have had mine from 3000 miles and it has always been like that. It does get quieter when warm. If in doubt, get a man to check it out....

They fill the arches really well. What size did you go for? And did you need to roll the wheelarch lips?

I did a good job of planting one of those underneath a JCB once. Think it might have looked better afterwards…..

If AMG recommend 98 min. The extra £7 would surely be cheaper than any potential long term mechanical consequences….

There are 2 listings. MERCEDES CLS63 AMG S AUTO & MERCEDES CLS 63 AMG S AUTO… I presume that they represent cars that have been registered as per the descriptions and they don’t overlap!

Interesting question. I was looking on howmanyleft.co.uk this weekend for an answer. But it only gives you the total number CLS63S out there - 138 for the last quarter of 2022. It doesn’t break that down into saloons and shooting brakes….

Thought there were 3 - when I checked there were actually 7 (including mine)…. Guess they all look the same!…..

I have been keeping details of every S for sale over the last 4 years or so (nerd, I know……) and there have been three white ones. So it might have been a long wait. The difference in drive between the S and non S is negligible if the non S has a LSD. Glad you have found a car. And happy days...
