W210 crankshaft sensor plug needs renewal
W210 e280 w reg petrol. I bought a new crankshaft sensor only to find eventually that it did not fit. I had been bending the pins, and having a no start issue. I went back to the original, still no start. I have bought a Bosch one, it looks a good fit. But I think the wiring plug is now... -

W210 which diagnostic machine
I have had a look at the x431, it seems that ranges from £89 to the £0000's. I am thankful for your input, but which one! Having looked into it, these companies do not like to be specific. Best advice so far, look for the 38 pin adapter and the word Mercedes. And be prepared to return! Thanks Ian -

I have a cheep plug-in and now I bought the icarsoft mb2 ! The cheep one is £15, I need something better. The icarsoft has no w210 showing on the menu, I'm about to return this. Do I need to buy the specific icarsoft 38 pin adapter to gain access ( I have access to a cheep 38 pin adapter)... -

The key turns but won’t turn over
Hi, I had this problem twice on my e280, w reg. there is a two wired plug in the engine bay fuse box. This runs a small fan for the ecu. I pull this out and check a 10 amp fuse, f3 which has blown. Car starts,or turns over again. At the same time the gearbox will be stuck in park. Check... -

I have loosely installed the inlet manifold and took another picture of the area. It looks like it could just be a hole in the cylinder head, for now. I will keep an eye on it. Especially when filling the oil and anti freeze back in. But for now I will leave it alone. I do tend to panic and... -

The car is petrol. No it's a hole that goes into the cylinder head. It's clean so either air or water. I do have a faint recollection of a rubber square tube!! Their is a number inside D6A maybe 12. The D could be a 0/O I have been looking through eBay, autodoc and more trying to figure... -

I took the inlet manifold out, cleaned resealed. But when I replace it I am left with a Hole in my engine, I can not find the part that goes there. I have taken two photos 1 full view and the 2nd close up of area. It's near the oil filler, oil cooler. This a 1999 upgraded w210 e280. Help...
