99.9% of UK insurance co's will cover 3rd party ins requirements, and then specifically exclude the ring. If you T-bone someone they will be able to claim from your insurance....but, your insurance will chase you for repayment. Jim

Old one exposed, wires removed, pipes coming off, shiney new one, new one installed.

Wiper motor housing (big aluminium thing), removed, rubbish underneath, Duo Valve exposed

Photo's Tools = 13 & 15mm sockets, 15mm spanner, Wipers, marking position on the screen, removing the arms (incl using the puller), removing the plastic cover..

New to me car fixing continues.... Having jumped into older car ownership I fully expected to have to fix few niggles to get things ship shape, and I haven't been disappointed so far :-) Following on from my last thread of replacing the Crank Postition Sensor...

£30 ? That sounds too cheap? Fleabay has loads of used ones for between £50 and £120 - I've googled replacement as far as I can and it doesn't look like I'm going to enjoy doing it - good for the new car Bonding process though :D Jim
