Good afternoon wonderful people of MBclub im hoping someone will be able to assist Ive a W220 S55KL AMG, which is suffering from a mysterious rubbing sound (as though something is catching) on the rear wheels after some spirited driving and average braking (no emergency stops or anything...

E55MO- Some great snaps taken there! It was great to talk to you and your friends! :) The two beasts do look good together :P It was great to be at the get together, some wonderful cars and great people too. This was the first of many to come, thank you to all for making me feel so welcome :)

Agreed with this, i was parked near the burger stand and as i was leaving i saw a few AMG's parked up at the front (exluding subhrajs E63 because thats at every show haha) and wouldve been good to say hey if i knew they were MBClub members...!!

Congratulation on the motor!! My IC Pump is due a replacement too, happening way too often with some spirited driving haha Sorry to hijack the thread, but is there any long term negative impact on not having the IC pump replaced if driving around normally?

Shame that its gone, i just hope you enjoy your next car your W220 AMG traitor haha :P

Dont see the appeal, but different strokes for different folks. Ive noticed from experience that once the engine is warm and has been taken for some spirited driving, revving it up to even 3k and letting off creates quite a noise...!!

God damn, if it wasnt for me moving to Essex id have been at this one! I hope it was a good turn out, looking forward to any southern meets in the future :P It looked like an amazing meet, absolutley loved those SEC's!! I hope the next meet is just as good as this one

Thanks for the words of advice on here folks, my partner lives in Strood so i'll be sure to drop the S55 over at his when im in need of something doing!
