So the capacitor is already included in the camera and doesnt need to be bought separately? My intention is to use the parking mode hence why I was asking about the battery packs. However, if my only choice is Blackvue's own battery pack which costs a whopping £300 then I am not interested.

Resurrecting this thread because I’ve seen some decent offers on Blackvue and thinking of installing one. Now, what type of battery pack can I get for it if I want to use the parking mode? Can I get a cheap battery pack or do I have to buy their expensive one?

My fault, I hadn't updated my details. I had a 2015 C200 which was written off after some clever cloggs on a Bentley decided his side of the road wasn't enough so he ploughed into me. Now I have a 2017 C200.

Apparently it was a noc sensor that was faulty and was replaced under warranty.

Well, my 2015 model had a 60l tank and did same mpg as my current one. Having to fill the tank every week is a pain especially considering fuel price fluctuations.

Holy Christ! I never thought servicing a Merc would be such a PITA and confusing. Oil change every 6 months? Is that not excessive and a waste? By the way, out of curiosity, how easy is it to change air/pollen/oil filters without having to go to garage? Are they easy accessible?

I would have thought that an air filter would need to be changed every year considering the amount of crap that it clears from the air that enters the car? I assume the pollen filter is separate from the air filter? Does that mean they are not included in the service price and I have to pay...
