I fitted winters to my c63 the other day. It was 4 degrees. The old worn out contisport 6 tyres had far more grip at 4 degrees on wet roads. I’d occasionally get the traction control light flicker on full throttle. On winters the light constantly flickers even under light acceleration. So far...

I’ve currently got contact 6 on my w204 c63. I was initially happy with them but after a few months they’re incredibly noisy. Such a shame as they’re an expensive tyre and now they’re going to be thrown in the bin. I can’t wait to get winters on now.

Mine is getting on a bit. 58 plate, fast approaching 90k. My only issues have been the head bolts which was a warranty job. I had a problem last year but that was covered under warranty from the head bolt job. Other than that at about 60k I need two arms and sway bar bushes. It’s been reliable...

I’m not sorry. Speaking to the dealer it does seem a rare problem but more and more are cropping up.

This is absolutely true. Rear windows don’t compare. It’s worth having the estate for this alone. If if you drive off slowly it sounds amazing. Even a warm start with the boot open slightly is loud.

I was thinking of selling my old c63 estate. My mileage has increased significantly since I bought the car. I’m now averaging 25k a year. I should buy something more sensible to do the commute in but if it’s that much trouble to sell one of these I guess i’ll just have to keep hold of it and see...

Does this camera have a parking function? I had my c63 door whacked yesterday in a car park. Fuming but I’m not going to let anyone get away with doing it again.

Don't forget dealers are keen to make money so could have advised the previous owner to replace pads and discs. I was advised it too on my old Range Rover for it's first service. I declined. Second service I wasn't advised. Pads must have grown material.

Perfectly normal IMO. You will see hotter too. Not sure what I've seen up to maybe over 100 but for a steady drive mine fluctuates between 85 ish to 95 I think.

Thanks for that. It actually looks not too bad a job. Perfectly happy to get my hands dirty. The head bolts were changed last year so that aspect has been dealt with.

The timing doesn't get disturbed? I thought it would? It's fairly straight forward job then?
