I went OEM when I did mine (2011 FL car). I did the job myself though, so no labour cost. Total cost for the front discs, pads and sensor was £199.62 with a 10% discount for being in the owners' club.

Rear brakes are used by the cruise control to maintain speed on downhill sections. My father in law uses cruise constantly and consistently gets through rear pads faster than the fronts. I would be surprised if the discs need changing at that mileage though.

When I had mine done the total for two new arms and fitting was £446, and that was with the 40% discount on labour from having a car over 6 years old.

When I got my Me Adaptor it has a small Velcro sticker with it. You stuck one part to the flap and one part to the adaptor and the Velcro kept the two together, and rattle free. If you need to remove the adaptor (which you will if you change phones) you just unstick the Velcro and pull it out...
