    [SOLD] Mercedes Valet Kit (Stargard)

Hi All I've got this Mercedes Stargard valet kit but I am already awash with detailing products and am unlikely to ever use it. Was supplied two years ago with an Approved Used GLC, but has sat totally unused since, hence a little dust from storage. Contains the following: - Glass Cleaner -...

New member - looking for a C350 Cdi Estate W204

Good luck with your search Gareth. I'm selling mine but it's a saloon, but even 4 years ago it was a challenge to find a good one and saloons are/were more plentiful than estates, as you probably know. Mine is one of those cars that isn't an ED125 but does have Command, xenons and heated seats...

    w204 brake disks n pads - c350 cdi

I went OEM when I did mine (2011 FL car). I did the job myself though, so no labour cost. Total cost for the front discs, pads and sensor was £199.62 with a 10% discount for being in the owners' club.

    C class rear brakes

Rear brakes are used by the cruise control to maintain speed on downhill sections. My father in law uses cruise constantly and consistently gets through rear pads faster than the fronts. I would be surprised if the discs need changing at that mileage though.

    W204 Front Hydro Bushing

Back in Jan 2019 I posted on this thread that I was experiencing issues. The shimmy under braking for worse and so in the end I handed it over in May 2019 to my local Mercedes dealer for them to replace both arms, do the front alignment and fit two new tyres. Now some 18 months and 10,000...

    W204 Front Hydro Bushing

When I had mine done the total for two new arms and fitting was £446, and that was with the 40% discount on labour from having a car over 6 years old.

    Wheel refurb recommendations Surrey/Hants?

I used Primo when they were in Guildford. They were a good price, efficient and the wheels looked very respectable. Up close there were some minor imperfections but as mine was a daily driver I wasn't unduly concerned. If I was going for perfect factory finish I'd have been a bit disappointed...

    Meet “Boris”

When I got my Me Adaptor it has a small Velcro sticker with it. You stuck one part to the flap and one part to the adaptor and the Velcro kept the two together, and rattle free. If you need to remove the adaptor (which you will if you change phones) you just unstick the Velcro and pull it out...

How economical is your AMG ??

I will happily take it off your hands for a few days in an effort to improve on that figure!

    AMG performance *Controversial post warning*

I totally get this. I've had fast cars before, mainly BMWs (Z4 M Coupe, Alpina B3, M135i) and I'm now on my second Mercedes, a W204 C350 CDi. I was lucky enough recently to have 150 miles behind the wheel of @HowardG's C63 507 Estate. It was awesome, as you'd expect, but getting back in my own...

    C63 507 Model Register

I saw this car at Goodwood FOS this year and spoke with the owner. When he bought it originally it had 18s and no side graphics, and he's since added the Himalaya alloys, rear privacy glass and the side graphics. There's a few photos of it on his Instagram in the before state and personally I...

    C63 507 Model Register

Great to meet you yesterday George and thanks for the hospitality. I very much enjoyed my 150 mile stint behind the wheel yesterday on the journey south, so much so I am now tempted to abandon my plan of a CLK55 and straight swap my C350 for a C63. So if anybody has a C63 estate or saloon...

    W204 Front Hydro Bushing

Bit of a thread resurrect. Car is a 2011 W204 C350CDi with 46k miles. I am getting a slight shimmy under light braking, which while not too big a problem now might be indicative of something more sinister. Would a failing hydro bush give that sort of symptom, because otherwise I have no other...

W204 brake pads handed - why?

Brief update. I was investigating some front end shimmy this weekend and since I had the wheels off I swapped the pads around so they were correct. I've done 2k miles since fitting them. Went for a drive afterwards and there was absolutely no difference at all which, to be fair, was exactly what...
