19" on w220 no prob as long as offset is right. Should be between 40 -44. Tyre sizes I have on mine are 245/40 19 and 275/35 19 no rubbing or adverse effect on handling - slight increase in tramlining due to wider tyes but that's expected and not a big issue. The wheels are 8.5 up front...

s-class uses thicker bolts.. if you go for these you will need a bolt kit

We have 20's on the W211 E500 and I can tell you that you need to dodge every pot hole !! not because of the ride as car has airmatic but more about avoiding getting the wheels buckled or tyre sidewalls damaged due to 25 profile :rolleyes: stick to your 18s if you want to enjoy your car...

Any pointers as to where I can get the discs / pads from apart from stealers ? I have not enquired yet about these items but am reading in places that the front discs + pads are around the £600 mark :eek: If anyone has replaced the brakes on their E55 AMG would be interested inknowing...
