Yes they normally clear straight away and generally only happen once at least mine did. Mine turned out to be faulty batteries there are two one in the boot and one under the bonnet. Try the cheaper options first like wheel sensors. Cheers Jeffers.

C Class W204 63 plate Well finally got a new alternator fitted so got the battery checked out and a new battery purchased £184. The ECO light still will not go green anyone any ideas I assume the two batteries will somehow be linked. Cheers. Jeffers

Just got the car back from Evans Halshaw and after diagnostics they concur with my indie and say it is the Alternator they have ordered another from Mercedes and when it arrives next week will fit it. Cheers Jeffers.

It did when the crankcase sensor was faulty not too sure now as it clears so quickly. I have just checked the battery and it looks to be a Mercedes one looks spot on condition wise, but cannot see why someone would replace it with a Mercedes battery. Car is 7 years old this year so looks dodgy...
