    Even the 2nd radius (inner) loop on the newer is a bit tight for the biggest loco's, but will be no problem for most. On mine I have 1 loop with 3rd radius and 2 with 4th radius to allow all trains to run. Still very much a work in progress!

    It's changed to a 2 oval design now I think. The 1st loop on the old design was too tight for anything bigger than a shunter.

    Good idea, If I was starting all over again (again) I probably would have started off going straight into DCC. I'm sure he'll love it!
