Can you recommend a good parts company in the UK? I wanted to do this job this weekend?

Took the car for a quick spin this afternoon and it bottomed out twice on the road - eek! John Jones - the suspension you recommended from German ebay - would that lower the car by 40mm? If so, am I likely to have bottoming out issues?

Hi all, I've had my W208 CLK320 for four months now. It's a lovely car and I've already spent £1400 on a gearbox service, full service, MAF and Crankshaft sensors, fog light lens etc etc at a local MB specialist. Trouble is, is the suspension has bottomed out a couple of times recently...

Update - I'm paying.....lol. Well I thought that would be the case but it was worth a shot!

Ha ha, yeah that's where I put my chances to be honest - although did read a thread from 2011 where someone said that they HAVE to do it under contract if you've got all your paperwork in order. Might be worth chucking some fu*&s and see what happens? I'll let you know..

So, back into MB ownership once more and back on the forum! :thumb: Just bought myself a lovely CLK320 although it is an x reg 2000 with a few rust bubbles poking through. It has full MBSH, no gaps - I might and try and get them to fix it for free... Wish me luck! What do you think...

I've decided to start a buffet company and have bought a van so the 500SE has to go I'm afraid, :( The car is taxed until the end of the month and has done 131,000 miles. It drives great and the cream leather is in great condition. There's some wear in the drivers side upper part of the seat...

OK guys, in the end I bought a new ABS sensor and had it fitted £109 - eek. The problem is still there though. Only now, the ABS comes on sometimes. When the ABS light comes on, there is no problem with the brakes at all (except the ABS doesn't work of course). I don't know what to try next...

yeah, I already had a friendly chat with him. He was totally non responsive. I'm quite annoyed about it as I'm sure it's something he did. Do you know how much a new speed sensor is? or even where it's located? Is it on the hub or attached to the brakes?
