C220 S204 Estate (W204) Right Hand Side cold, LHS warm

This connector is fixed now thanks to very long handled pliers. I also made a cover with a pin to press in the small hole on the left hand side. i am unsure whether this actually made a difference but the connector popped out with the pliers on the left and right sides.

Yes, every wire to the right side Air Blend actuator is severed. Does anyone know how to unlock and remove the connector?

W204 C220 CDI (OM646) - realistic MPG? potentially looking to buy

yep same here C220 CDI Blue efficiency W204 estate . without effort I get 45MPG. When the petrol price went up in the petrol shortage I managed over 60 MPG but that was driving (like everyone else) with eggshells under the accelerator and no braking.

The remote central locking problem turned out to be a fuse: Rear fusebox fuse number 46. Phew.

Further to this: There is now an error code pointing to the right blend flap actuator. Sounds right. There is no electrical access from the CAM to the actuator : all the actuator readings are N/A To me this looks like an electrical fault with the wires to that actuator. With the Comand screen...

C220 S204 Estate (W204) Right Hand Side cold, LHS warm

Heres an interesting one. My lovely (UK: Right hand drive estate) 2011 C220 S204 has decided to chill the driver whilst keeping the passenger cosy warm. It's not the Air con. No error messages on dash or through the Diagnostics reader (icarsoft). The chill feels like external air. I'm thinking...

W204 What needs to replacing after 80k miles?

Your car is a youngster wrt mileage. Mine's done 165K miles. but it is a 2011 so a bit younger. My feeling is don't replace mercedes parts just because they are old/high mileage. They last a lot longer than their competitors. You should invest in a decent error code reader/clearer icarsoft do a...

    W204 350 speed sensor

The error code will clearly tell you which sensor (Front left or front right rear left rear right) is failing. I did have a problem with a rat that ate the wires from the rear connector inside the car. (yep!) remove the rear bench, unscrew the bolt that holds the panel in front of the wheel...

    W204 350 speed sensor

Easy Merc07, Just turn the wheels in the direction of the failing sensor (left side failing: turn the wheel to full left lock), jack up and take the wheel off, and remove the rear mudguard, (all the 10mm plastic nuts including the 8mm screw underneath) Then check you have the correct part for...

Windscreen washer leak after freezing temperatures. Fixed.

After being laid up for a while and some very cold days and nights, I noticed the washer fluid dripping out of the front wheel arch. Some time later (when it was warmer!) I removed the front left wheel, and the front mud guard. (simples) The unit with the pipe to it at the bottom of the...
