hi guys, after some help - having issues with the convertible top on my dads CLK, I have found that the latch behind the back seat (passenger side) which holds the roof cover down has a broken microswitch. could someone please let me know the correct part number, picture of the part is below...

did something like this a while back on my w209 320 cdi sport. kept command , added Mosconi 4to6 digital proc and upgraded all speakers to gladden. 180 x 4 amp going to tweets/mid in doors & 2500 x 1 going to 15" sub in boot. pic is pre 2500.1 amp (also kicker) this is 1750? Hi Mate, had this same issue on my w209 when I upgraded the Anti roll and shocks to eibach/bilstein, ended removing subframe (iv still got pics of it out ), attempting to redrill failing ended fitting a bolt all the way through with locking nut etc (all heavy duty) took approx. 14hrs...

looks like quality work indeed, just on a silver car, it stands out that bit too much. maybe a lighter shade of Carbon?

My w209 coupe is tinted, back windows is lino rest is legal, with the cream interior and the eiback/bilsten suspension, i think it looks quite nice.... then again i am under 40 (although greying considerably!) (then again i do have a 15" sub in the boot) but i must say the drastic diffrence...

HI Abdul, thanks for the reply, unfortunetly the opening in the 209 through the cabin is smaller then the opening in the boot, if i were to build and push it through there it wouldnt fit the 15" :/ and yes 100% with the swap out the L7 problem is cashflow at the moment (isnt it always)...

possible a speaker blown causing it to short out ?, have you tried putting something bassy on and moving fader from speaker to speaker to see If one sounds caput ?
