Service A after only 4200miles and 9 months?

Well if that really is the case, it seems ridiculous that you could in fact but a brand new car that may have sat in a storage area for say 6/8/10 months and bee required to cough up for a service within a few months of ownership.

    No it wasn't pre-registered.

Service A after only 4200miles and 9 months?

UPDATE: Upon calling the dealer, they said that their records how that the car was PDI at start of July last year and therefore its due. However, I purchased this car mid September as a show room model. I seem to be getting an inference from the dealer that if I don't get it serviced for July...

Service A after only 4200miles and 9 months?

I appreciate it might have been built a year ago, but I didn't take delivery of it then. Surely, the dealer should have set it at pre delivery?

Service A after only 4200miles and 9 months?

i have a c220cdi coupe which is just 9 months old and done 4200 miles. It's now showing that service A is due. Seems a little premature to me.

New 2014 C-Class: Sport or Standard (Suspension)?

I can't comment on the 205 but I have a a 204 220CDI AMG, purchased new last September. The ride is hard and it's a wonder I have any teeth left!. I like the lines of the styling, but not the lowered suspension. It was showroom stock and I got a good deal. Comfort suspension for me in future.

    New C coupe wheelspin

My new C class 220cdi coupe (reg sept 13) seems to wheelspin quite easily. I am not a race boy driver, but when I put a little more acceleration at junctions/islands, the back wheels must spin a little as I feel something and the ESP light flashes. I appreciate we have had wet and damp roads...

    New C Class (205) I wonder if........

... they have improved the 4 pot diesel engines and sound proofing. There are plenty of posts (me included) which are critical of the noisy 200/220 and cabin noise

Regretting New 220CDi Coupe What to do

To a point you are correct. But whilst I seem to be whinging, I am also sharing a buyers experience, which may help in some small way other potential buyers to think carefully and avoid the misatke I made.

Regretting New 220CDi Coupe What to do

QUOTE 3) Change it as much as you can. In your case going to a different wheel combo, 17" sport wheels that are not shod with Continentals* for a start would make a huge difference. And add some sound proofing under the firewall carpet and the bonnet for around £100. *I don't know if it has got...

Regretting New 220CDi Coupe What to do

I forgot to mention in my last post. When I mentioend my displeasure to the sales guy at the MB dealer. He said he was surprised and 'Oh well there's not much I can do about that"

Regretting New 220CDi Coupe What to do

No, I havent driven another car from the dealer, well not a recent MB anyway. It makes me wonder just what to try. All the other C class 4 pot diesels would probably be the same. Maybe i should try a petrol, though the dealer said they sell very few and don't get many in as demos. Maybe, i...
