Hi, Is it possible to change a European vehicle from Imperial to U.S. units of measure? There doesen't seem to be a setting for this in the user menu, unless it's hidden. Any ideas where the setting can be changed? My '03 E220 CDI has always indicated higher mileage than what I have measured...

2003 E220 CDI Engine OM646.961, trans 716.649 - manual shift six speed, 138k miles Every so often when I let out the clutch in 1st gear she pops out with a hellacious bump and of course the engine revs away. I put it back in and she takes off as normal. Happens more often if I'm in a hurry...

Confirmed - in the US, WIS access through Star TechInfo is for documentation covering US spec vehicles only: "We only provide technical data on U.S. spec vehicles. Regards, The STAR TekInfo Team" Seems like my best shot is to join the Mercedes-Benz Club (UK) and get the card to access...

I wondered too, how can I tell if the thermostat isn't performing up to par and so made a note to myself while driving yesterday that with a new thermostat in urban driving it took about ten minutes for my OM646 to reach 95 deg, which seems to be my normal operating temp.

For what it's worth, just remedied the same problem as duncanh above by changing out the thermostat as well on my OM646/E220. Temps would hover willy nilly around 70ish and on the highway sometimes not even hit 80. I didn't bother to remove the fuel lines, but did take out the oil filter to...
