Hi all, my battery finally gave up - so bought a new one. Whilst disconnected the radio reset and code now needed. I have the code as it was in the manual but for some reason it doesn't work. Any ideas? Is there a special way of entering the code?

Would that not happen all the time? The key to this issue is when I corner, so when the car is tilted.

I have a 2001 automatic W210. Runs really well. One small issue, if I go round a corner quite tightly, say verging onto a motor way at speed and either have to brake or steer tight into the bend, afterwards I have acceleration issues. The car will not pull away and I have to keep my foot down...

My merc runabout gets cheap discs / tyres as it is for tip runs etc - no need for good stuff. My delta gets brand new rubber and brembo discs, because that is the car that works for its Lidl petrol! ha

Hi Joesoap17, it has a petrol 2.6 V6. Currently at 100k miles and last service was recorded at 80k but I think that was a minor. The history is good but I can't see any reports of a gearbox service - are these sealed units? Part of me does think it would benefit from a gearbox service.
