    C350e anyone considering one?

Do you have the COMAND system? Here's a video I took to show what I'm on about https://youtu.be/LVlXcOZzjlc - quite interesting over a longer trip :)

    GLC Wind Noise

My C-Class luckily seems to avoid this, although I have noticed I get quite a lot of noise from the passenger wheel arch when it's raining, in fact it's the only car I've ever noticed hearing the water splash up into the arches. It sounds like someone is jet washing it as I'm driving along...

With your contract do you have a tethering allowance? I've got All-You-Can-Eat data, with a 12GB tethering allowance. Most telcos seem to block tethering/hotspot use as a default which is how the car connects to your phone. Once you've connected, check out Navi then scroll along to (If I...

You can check in the Mercedes Me app as well, I've had the flashing white bar and ignored it for a little bit...checked the app and saw I was down to 3% in the fuel tank. Although I still only managed to get about 45 litres in :s

    Tesla Model 3 revealed - £24,000 and 0-60mph in 6 seconds

Woke up to get my deposit in at 3.30am! Driven the Model S a few times and loved it and this seems like a great replacement for my C350e. I agree the touchscreen only controls offer a distracting user experience in a lot of cases so it'll be interesting to see what they add to the steering...

I tried out the rapid chargers at the services just to see how they work...18 minutes for 1.1kWh Rapid charger screen

Technically speaking you can use the AC fast chargers, but despite their ability to provide up to 50kWh to some cars, you'll still only get about 3kWh from it as the C350e doesn't support fast charging. The unit steps the power down so it win't fry the car, but is it worth tying up the fast...

    New version of MercedesMe

Can't log in either :( I think the changes go live towards the end of March though from how the email I've received was worded, plus a lot of the new features are likely to be new E-Class specific I'm guessing? Car-to-X communication sounds interesting!

    Any C350e Pics

Good luck, hopefully it all goes okay for all of us! They seemed to ditch our company car scheme entirely a few years ago, unless you had to have one to travel, then it was a base Prius, medium spec Prius, or top of the range Prius depending on level. I'm missing out on all these BIK...

Filled up yesterday with the tank showing at 3% (the last notch on the fuel gauge starts flashing!) and managed to get 44.77 litres into it so the 50 litre capacity sounds pretty genuine! Here's the Mercedes Me app screenshot Screenshot

I'm missing the external temperature as well, if you get your software updated could you confirm how long it takes? I'd book mine in but assume it would end up taking a few hours to sort! If only we had overnight software updates like Tesla ;)

    2012 onwards SLK owners experience

I used to have an MX-5 (2.0 litre model) and switched to an SLK (2012 250 CDI) - it's very much a different car to drive, less roadster, more cruiser I found. The Mazda also did a better job of keeping the wind out of the car when you had the side windows down! The MX-5 is known for it's near...
