i just fitted a front and rear MB speed sensors and it has cured the following problems that i have lived with for a year. Diff lock overheating message when using diff lock or with mild wheelspin. Hill start assist now works again. Hard suspension fixed.:)

Hi, I have changed the suspension switch setting. Sometimes the softest ride is in sport mode. I have some other issues that has been diagnosed on this forum as being due to using non genuine wheel speed sensors. I have two mb sensors to fit, maybe it's related.

My 2011 GL has developed harsh airmatic suspension. It occurs about half the time. There is no message and the the car sits level an the height looks right. The raise suspension mode seems to work correctly. Any ideas?

Thanks for the replies. I have at least 2 non MB sensors and managed to find 2 genuine ones on eBay for 20 and 25 quid. The sensors I fitted were from Euro car parts and GSF. My icarsoft code reader does list faults "inplausable signal" relating to abs sensors, although the abs system works...

Has anyone fitted a towbar on a GL? I read that 2010 onwards has a wiring harness already fitted. What kit do I need to buy?

It just seems wrong to not change the TC fluid when it is subjected to so much heat and friction.
