Is this relating to a sticking actuator? Replacement turbo required or can the variable vanes be cleaned up and refitted?

I think it would be very unreasonable, you won't get anywhere with this.

You need to find out why it's low first, it's probably leaking from the electrical multiplug seal on top half of box, I would budget abound £200 to have this seal changed and gearbox flushed before it causes any damage to the gears. If you don't do this then you will soon write off your box!

It's the head that is damaged...... So no good? Need to source a 611.962?

As above guys, Need an engine for a friends car, currently has a 611.962 143bhp engine fitted, I can get a 611.960 136bhp engine locally and swap injectors, fuel pump, turbo etc over. Will this work with no issues or do I need to replace with 611.962 engine only? Thanks

Thank you for your reply, the thread is beyond repair as its been damaged to having a broken easy out left in the plug then heavy drilling to remove that. The part number I have is A6110105220 - please let me know if you have one or details of a part number which superceeds this. Many Thanks

So I'm looking to replace a cylinder head on a 2003 C220CDI coupe due to damage done when previous owner tried to remove a snapped plug, anyway I can find cylinder heads for this car but none which are the exact same part numbers. Are all C220CDI cylinders the same? Thanks

As title, Not mine but an acquaintance has a C220CDI, snapped a glow plug trying to remove it and stupidly snapped an easyout trying to remove that! Best way to go about removal?
