Hi - The driver side mount upper bolt has hardly any space - do I need to remove the Cat and turbo?

Happy new year! Are there any gotcha’s on changing the Left and right engine mounts on a w203 c270cdi? Is it just a simple case of the front wheels onto ramps with a block of wood under neath the sump with a jack and then replace? Thanks in advance!

Hi all, I am about to pull take off the top of the dashboard to get at the M2/16 motor which is clicking. When I remove the top dash the passenger airbag has to be disconnected - does this require a reset afterwards with star? thanks

I read in forums that you need to cycle left to right 50 times to get all the air out. The mb tech note says 30 times. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I disconnected the line to the steering cooler and also sucked out the fluid from the reservoir by turning the steering from left to right. UNLESS there is air still trapped which is causing the problem in your and my situation.

Hi- checked the joint. It moves ok and also lubricated it as well. I did put another pump, no joy. Old pump was tested at the refurbers for 30mins on a rig, pressure was good. Reservoir filter was dirty from what I could see, as the unit is sealed, cleaned out with brake cleaner. Still...

Doubt the ball joint, as first 30 minutes of driving is easy, as soon as the car is warmed up, the steering stiffens but will self centre slowly.
