I’ve got platinum RAC warranty so I should be covered. When this warranty runs out I’ll be getting a MB warranty for sure!
I’ll update once the car has been into MB on Thursday!
I have a feeling it may be a sensor. To be fair to MB Coventry they have really looked after me since I’ve had the car even though I bought it from Listers. The car has full MB history and has always been serviced and looked after by Coventry so maybe that’s why!

David, the two sensors that were replaced on your car were they NOX sensors by any chance?
I’ve just been reading a lot of threads about these sensors going on the E Class. Apparently it’s a coming fault and MB are aware of it.

Left side with exhaust, right side AdBlue tank. I don’t know if a decent garage might be able to work around the tank to fit a quad exhaust. I don’t really want a e43 replica but the fake exhausts do P*ss me off a little.
An A35 will have quad pipes so it will smoke both sides. Mine on the other hand, had only one downward pointing exhaust on the left side. Looks weak AF, bring on the summer and warming mornings
Me too! I had it done a few weeks ago but thought it best to post an outcome, just in case any other donuts like me to try to play Mercedes Engineer and loose!
