Thanks for that. I don't profess to understand the science but in layman's terms I guess you are saying have it properly pressure tested pre gas rather than relying on a UV agent showing up a leak post gassing - Kwik Fit style.

That sounds like a very plausible explanation. I didn't fancy going to get regas at £45 only to find that wasn't the issue but I'm confident you might be on the right track so I'm gonna give the regas a go and see what happens. I'll update in due course. Thanks

Got the same issue with my 2005 220. Cooled air from passenger side and warmer as you move across the dash to the driver side. Be interested to see if anybody can pinpoint the possible issue.

Thanks for that - yes only getting 38mpg at present. Re 'boil off' moisture, sorry if being a numpty but is that in the engine or generally coz I do seem to have an issue with way too much moisture/misting inside the cabin.
