Blimey did'nt realise there were so many cats. Would removing them all make the car run rough then? If nothing else, would probably drone like mad.

Apparently the cat is on it's way out. Would it cause problems if i de-catted it?

Could someone recommend me some discs for a w220 S500 please. The current ones have had their day i think. Well they feel warped slightly anyway. I have quite a heavy foot at times, so i would prefer some 'uprated' ones.

After extensive reading on various other MB forums (american) it seems that the car relearns after a while, and then requires resetting to attain the previous glory of the SB. People were resetting their SB after every week in some instances. Seems more hassle then it is worth if it...

But there was a difference in the auto one then? - Just not enough to outweigh the outlay, in your opinion?

So you found your box to be jerky with the SB installed? Is yours the manual or auto version of the SB?

Nice one mate. Glad i asked before being ripped a new one from AA technik. The manual one - Does that fit the autobox too? Also my brother in law wants to know if this would work on his W220 1999 S320?

I did look at the sprtinbooster but thought it was another Ebay 5p type resistor. Do they geninely work then? Is smoothness lost at all of the autobox?

Yeh that was what i thought too. However, a few guys have stated that they feel a difference in throttle response etc. However this might be more to do with them playing about with the idle etc. How much to supercharge these things then? :D
