Hello M6. Had a nice year in the CL55 but got the yearning for something a little lighter and more driver focused. So a V10 M6 it is. Anyone after a low mileage black on black facelift CL55??? Cheers all for the help, it's a great forum.

Early 997's (3.8) seem to be even more prone to bore scoring if less so than the 996 3.6 version.

Probably a face-lift 996 C2, don't think I'll be able to stretch to a C4s unfortunately. Let alone a GT3, I have a friend with a 997 GT3 RS in Black and Orange which is amazing.

Hi all I'm thinking about getting rid of the CL55 for a change to a 911. So my CL is pretty much spotless, no corrosion, no leaks, only 48k miles. I've spent the year covering all the area's that can cause issues with these, and just done a full (all fluids and filters) B Service...

I so wish I had a grand to throw at these. They'd be great on my CL.

I suggest you put an ammeter in the circuit with the led in then again with the bulb in to test it. They will both be pulling the same current BECAUSE both circuits will have the same overall resistance (to keep the bulb check happy) and the same voltage feed.

The Bosch 010 is a direct fit and can be had from US eBay for £100. Johnson one needs the plugs cutting off the wiring soldering up and water proofing.
