    Spilt drink - now beeping!

If cleaning doesn’t do the job, and I’m looking at replacing the component parts, do you have an idea of estimated cost?

    Spilt drink - now beeping!

Thanks for the replies so far. The good news is my car drives okay this morning but the infotainment controls are goosed and not responding (though the S, M and E selector still works. Is it just a case of replacing these controls and if so any idea of cost? I’m booked in with a Mercedes...

    Spilt drink - now beeping!

Hiya, I had a horrendous accident in my 2016 E220 coupe 90 mins ago where I failed to put a KFC coke in the drinks holder and it spilt all over the infotainment controls. For the most part it seems to be working okay (although there’s some niggles) however I’ve now noticed a beeping coming...

    C207 - Engine light - MOT fail - Help!

Inbetween posting my ad and reading your reply, I located a deep flush process at National (via Halfords) for £85. Is it recommended to do this before getting it checked out - to see if it removes the engine light and allow me to get my MOT done? Another reason I'm thinking of this is that I...

If it is the DPF do you have an idea of cost to replace? I've tried Googling to no avail.

    C207 - Engine light - MOT fail - Help!

Hi, My car: 2016, E220d coupe (C207). Back in Nov I had an accident at 3mph- broken headlight and bumper. My insurance company, Direct Line, fixed it and when they handed it back the engine light was on. Though they said it's nothing to do with the accident so they can't fix it, they sent...

    C207 - headlight - work??

Is this also why the lights don't do the 3 way sweeping motion at night when the engine is turned on? How do I sort out the coding? Clearly the repair centre (run by Direct Line) haven't done it.

    C207 - headlight - work??

Well I got my car back from the garage today and I think they have fitted the wrong headlights. Pre-accident the lights would come on in a 3 way-motion. They'd swoop up from the floor, then flash outwards and inwards. Very funky. But the new headlights just come on - no movement whatsoever...

    C207 - headlight - work??

Hi all, I had a slight ding in a car park on Friday in my 16 plate E220. Their car was banged up but mine only had a few scuffs to the bumper and a cracked headlight case. All was working fine until last evening when it rained and now neither my front headlight or indicator work. My mechanic...

    220d (C207) questions

Ok so I filled up 13 litres - all before anyone posted a video - and the warning sign has gone off so hopefully that’s sorted now. Here is a pic of the snapped seat-release. The steel thing on the right of the pic should be attached to the lever I’ve pulled out.

Thanks got your help. Good to know the costs aren’t too exorbitant. Ok so I filled up 13 litres - all before anyone posted a video - and the warning sign has gone off so hopefully that’s sorted now. Here is a pic of the snapped seat-release. The steel thing on the right of the pic should be...

    220d (C207) questions

I have found the tank in my boot and lifted the top lid to reveal another cap that will just not budge. Is it a simple twist n turn setup or some other method? I need to know before I try and force it as I don’t want to break it. I assume the only way to know if it’s a legit warning or a system...

    220d (C207) questions

Hey all, A few more questions if you don’t mind. 1) I have an adblue warning saying it needs topping up but I don’t know how to do this. There’s no adblue cap under the fuel flap (2016 E C207) so can you tell me where to locate it, where to get adblue and if I can top it up myself? 2) speaking...

    220d (C207) questions

I tried this and was pleasantly surprised. Easily high 80s in heavy traffic and jams where I can't avoid accelerating, braking and jams and if I can keep a constant speed and add a couple of bouts of coasting I can hit 99%. The downsides are that I have to accelerate quite genteely like an old...
