I need some help with a few things on installling new ignition.lock housing into Meecedes C230 . Thank you.

Should the ignition be hard to put the locking part into the collum when putting the whole ignition.into 97 Mercedes C230.. Had to change it out.. But havent put it all together yet? The rivit on the side of the housing has to be into the hole for the steering collum but it seems like it has to...

The Bezel.cover for ignition on dash just changed it out and the wire for the Bezel was hanging dont see where it goes so i can finish up and have keys programmed for ignition.. Does anyone know where in plugs into ? I cant see a connection for a.two.prong connection.
