Interesting comments Thanks for your thoughts guys, I bought a petrol car because of, mostly, low mileage trips up in the Orkney islands. A lot of petrol cars locally as dpms get killed here. Notice more people at the green pump!

Question for any dealers or those in the trade.... with all the talk about those nasty diesel cars in the papers, has anyone noticed a rise in demand for petrol cars yet or has the media scaremongering fallen on deaf ears given diesels torque and economy. Not thinking of changing the motor...

Unfortunately the world is full of ar**holes who take no responsibility for their own action. Had a similar 'incident' some years ago that eventually got resolved in my favour when an independent witness went to the police on my behalf. I now have a good quality dashcam fitted!

Worth checking the door drain holes are clear and free to drain. I had a passenger door fill up on one car after the drain holes got bunged, produced an unpleasant Aroma.
