For caravanners' eyes only - we're getting a new one!!

That's a good price but what register does it go on as I've not heard of that before?

E Class Convertible - What's it like living with one?

Reference the corrosion on the underneath. It seems like a hit and miss thing that some will be ok, while others won't. I know from a few years back my last SLK suffered from it and Merc wouldn't have it despite having full Merc services from new. Other people were lucky with Merc changing...

I've got ours booked in for the fridge freezer repair and a service. I'll keep an eye on what they do and maybe do it myself next time. £250 for the service and £185 for the fridge freezer repair. Probably not the cheapest but he appears to have a good reputation.

    F1 2023

Will miss Guenther's wit on race weekends but can see why they need to make changes at the top. Let's hope it's for the best and lets hope Merc make a decent car and not another donkey

Do we still have engine snobbery?

There's always going to be some melt ready to pi55 on someone's chips about one thing or another. Just enjoy what you have

E Class Convertible - What's it like living with one?

Thanks for your replies  It seems the petrol versions are in short supply with plenty of dervs about. Ideally for the miles it'll do a petrol would be better but hey ho as pretty sure I'll be able to put some miles on it instead of one of the other cars. Seems to be that quite a few of...

    Battery Problems

From memory the rear Sam can be alike a duck pond if water finds it way into the rear of the car.

E Class Convertible - What's it like living with one?

I'm looking at these (2010? onwards) and wondering if they'll work for me. As much as I like the CLK (which just sadly seem outdated and the latter petrol models hit with the stupid high tax of nr on £700 per year). I've usually had a CLK convertible every year since the 209's have been about...

For caravanners' eyes only - we're getting a new one!!

Thanks for your quick reply. I didn't get that one but will probably pick up a spare at some stage but not seen them for that price locally to me. I thought I'd have a quick go an altering my existing one to see if I could get any more water out the system. The last time I used the van I...

For caravanners' eyes only - we're getting a new one!!

I'm looking to get a spare inlet hose. This is the current one if you can see it in the picture in the sink. Would this be a direct replacement for it...

CLS55 M113K mpg results from recent trip

26.9mpg is pretty good. The most I've had out of mine on a run is 29 (brim to brim) and despite trying a few times (for a little while) I could never get to 30. I start of been sensible then the flow of traffic changes my mind 😇 Around town I'm averaging 18mpg (think lead foot too) which I'm...

    F1 2023

Sprint race to start soon. Ref the up to 1m fine - I wonder if they'd have the brass neck to hand it out and if anyone would pay it? I suppose someone has the pay for the evening do's for the FIA lot.

    F1 2023

Lance really is a prize plonker and getting totally show for who he really is by FA. I wonder what "Super Stars" will be on the grid this year? I really hope Brundle is on there as well :) Hopefully we'll see a different podium line up this race. Fingers crossed eh? ....

Low miles owners be quick .... Cls55 Amg

Looked a cheap car. The last date of issue for a V5 could have been removing a private plate or change of address. I've not looked into properly so just making a guess. I'm pretty sure it was advertised a couple of years ago. It'll probably be advertised for £15k+ at some stage....
