How do you go about sorting rust?

That wasn't more a question to each person as I'm sure we each have our own ways but always interesting to hear other people plans of attack, tips and tricks etc. So my way depends on how bad the damage is, if its some light bubbling then, sand back to bear metal, and apply a rust reverter...

    Tyre wear

I'm going to seem like a Yob here but I am only 16 but, we've had this problem with plenty of cars. Turn the traction control off slam you foot on the brake and the accelerator hard down. DIY Bald Spot fix :P Cheaper than new tyres.

HID Xenons are up and running on the CLK !

See this I find odd, our 230K Elegance CLK, has standard HID's in reflectors, came fitted from the factory?

    Steering Wheel -

Will do thanks for the tip! and that dark red CLK. When we got ours, dark blue. There was another 230 in the red, which was slightly less well specced we went blue because of the spec, despite really liking that colour on that car.

    Steering Wheel -

Right Put an ad up on parts gateway and I'll see what they come back with! For those that don't know Parts Gateway is a bit like a breakers yard searcher, you tell it what you want a small description and an Image and what car you need it from and it sends it too all its registered breakers...

    W202 C43 gear not changing

Most automatic gearboxes despite mercedes saying they're sealed units can be given a new lease of life with a fluid change; Our W208 4 Speed auto wouldn't change up so I changed the fluid and it fixed the problem. Hope this Helps! Noah

W208 Coupe - Pulls to the left.

Well yes, lol. 2000 W208 CLK Pulls to the left quite harshly and to go straight the steering wheel is about a 25 Degree angle to the right of being straight; Before we got the car in 2003, it was curbed by the previous owner, we never did anything about the pulling problem, but its bugging...
