Hi Russ Thanks for that link good information there. No warning lights coming up just slight miss on acceleration so did the check with my reader and the code came up so I will have a look round for suggestions posted in the link. Thanks for your help Russ much appreciated. Norman

Hi All I have a 2005 220 CDI and just started glow plug light does not go out straight away after starting, put my tester on and getting CODE P2134 is that glow plug related. Cheers Norman

Just me being thick as two short planks LOL. My 4 securing brackets looked like hinges but they were caps over 4 bolts that had to be undone.

Hi Matt Spot on with what you suggested just tried it and it works every time when I help the pedal up. Mot not due till April so I have plenty of time to sort it. Have a good Christmas and New year Norman

Sorry about that the car is a 2005 C-Class 220CDI with as you say foot operated brake. I have a Haynes manual for the car but mentions nothing about the foot operated brake mechanism inside the car.

Hi All Just started,when I release the parking brake I am having trouble getting the warning light to go out,the brakes are releasing fine but I have to keep pulling on the release lever before I can get the light to go out. Thanks Norman

Hi All I have a 2005 C220 CDI I need to change my battery so can I use my booster pack as a slave so I don't loose all my settings. Thanks Norman
