    Uphill... Slow Go...

I'll check, but last time I looked at the dipstick hole for the gearbox there wasn't anything attached to the cap.

No dipstick on gearbox, but changes through gears fine otherwise.

If I restart, it's OK, until the next hill. Then repeats issue.

    Uphill... Slow Go...

Good day people... The C220 coupe, has now developed it's own speed restriction when negotiating any hills upwards..(It's an automatic) Fine on flat, accellerates fine....gets to a hill and into limp with nowt over 2500 rpm! I have replaced the MAF sensor, cleared all the air filter and housing...

A non starting E270 after injector replacement !

RESULT ! When I initially removed injector 1, I needed to remove the top of the injector where the piezo unit is to be able to get a spanner on to the body to twist gently to assist removal. Errantly, I LOST the minute "pip" (Not a ball as some suggest) mounted in the jet hole. This I spotted...

A non starting E270 after injector replacement !

Removed and replaced an injector, and the copper ring at the base. (I realise the injector may need "Coding" to improve emmissions, but it shouldn't prevent it starting) Bled system to each of the 5 injectors, and ensured no air leaks Diagnostics..... Had a man out to read the codes. Appears...

    GGRRRRRRR... INjector copper washer stuck

Diagnostics..... Had a man out to the E270 today to read the codes. Appears that the only code in the system is one for the 5th cylinder glow plug isn't playing the game. BUT.... On further investigation, there is no signal at any of the injector heads, but there is signal at the cam and crank...

    GGRRRRRRR... INjector copper washer stuck

Further issues starting now...... After much cleaning of crud (Black death stylee) from Injector 1 area, I *may* have accidentally lost the tiny ball in the top of the injector under the removable head section. SO.... Replaced the injector as a precaution... and now the bugger won't start. Turns...

    GGRRRRRRR... INjector copper washer stuck

Hmmm... I'll have a read..... Currently, all the parts within the top are in the correct order, and assembled easily with no issues. But........ Car won't start, turns over for the usual timed start sequence, and sounds as if it's trying to start, then as expected stops at the end of the start...
