Hi. 91 plate sl300. Didnt notice it changing in to 4th last night when out in it. Is this a common problem or a gearbox problem?

hi guys, alternator sorted and a recon set of clocks are in,time for it to go for mot, cars been stood for 8 month easy and only started 3 times so it will be interesting to see what it fails on,all the lights etc work,i be very surprised if it passes as its been stood 8 month like i say.

hi,clocks work fine,(speedo reading slow though but its a replacement set of clocks i put in yesterday there is no increase in loudness of the hissing when reving etc,it seems be either behind clocks or the panel under steering wheel. i will remove both today and check for pipes off etc

hi all, well i sorted the alternator and its charging now but i have now noticed a hissing noise, my car is a r129 sl300 ,when the car is started i can hear the hissing coming from the drivers side behind the clock area. any ideas please?

alternator all sorted.took cables off it and cleaned all connections up and works a treat now

Hi all. Looking for a set of clocks ( instrument cluster) for a 91 plate sl300. Also looking for the electric roof modual that sits under rear seat and a hard top. I am in leicestershire but i can travel to collect. Thanks Sean

Not dissapointed. Looks like i be keeping them and getting new tyres and refurbing the rims.
