Main Dealers have always been cagey about protecting their hourly rip off rates I guess,
first they told me 3 hours so I drove home in the courtesy car 25 miles, then drove back 3 hours later and it wasn't ready...
Well, its done and it took 5 hours.
the time apparently is in stripping stuff off, for changing and checking the dual clutch oil, which needs heating up to temp and test driving and re checking the level.
All the correct components were actually changed, cos I checked :lol:

Ive booked it in at Warrington, they are an AMG centre. they did a free health check when I bought it, passed with no advisories. :thumb:
+ they owe me an AMG jacket, for buying the wife a GLC AMG line while I was there :lol:
Well Well,,, this has heated up since yesterday,
I called a few MB dealers yesterday including the original one, they said the SLS has no stamp book, its all on the MB computer so if you go to indi then their system is not updated. They told me it is due an 'A' Service and they can print off...
its at 22k service, but they didn't say which one, it did however have a free health check 500 miles ago and nothing at all was found to be wrong, (which I found unusual for merc)
there isn't a service book with them, they say it all prints out on the invoice, what its had before.
So I guess...
