Just tried a slightly better diagnostics (not star)Hopefully get that this week
But after cleaning the connector to Mass air flow sensor yesterday, it just feels better and i,m sure the petrol smell has gone Could it be just a dirty connector...
Interesting, reset codes, warning lights off and it is running at higher rev(normal) and not lumpy.( when i say lumpy i mean ticking over about 600rpm and not really smooth)
Need to give it a run out see if light comes back when warmed up
Well, not sure as i have bottled it at the moment reading about that clip down the back, the rest of process looks simple enough but think i need one of these to proceed. I did change all my brake pads though ;-)

Some may be old as had plugs etc changed 6 mths ago

Looking to buy new pads front/rear, just about to order when i noticed some were for a Lucas System, Some for Brembo, I,m assuming the disc size is the determining factor?
Looking on another site it says There are 3 options fitted to this vehicle.
330mm DISC 2 piston , 345mm DISC 4 piston ...
Runs OK if i disconnect sensor.

I just disconnected the sensor run the car and it idled smoothly, so i'm guessing this is a job that needs doing. I don't think i,ll even get my hands down the back of...

but mine looks totally different, is this the MAF on mine?
