Also - Doubt I can get any pics of the weld as the crack was all the way around the joint to the downpipe.

As above, I believe that is what my mechanic did, as I interrupted him halfway through to remove the supercharger resonator as it was already apart ;)

Yeh, anyway got it all welded and put back together now. Sounds like a brand new car!

Yep, might have to be welded now... Only thing putting me off is an indy told me that once welded its just likely to crack 'in another part' of the manifold a couple of thousand miles down the line? I'm not too sure. It wasn't fitted but from just looking at the position of the kompressor it...

Just a note to anyone thinking of buying one of these or even that ebay auction posted earlier (ending in 8hrs) They WILL NOT fit a rhd uk car. Needs major modification to clear the kompressor and modification to the downpipe as well. Will be returning mine to the US asap.
