thanks Steve, I'm close-ish to Colchester. Had a look at the MB11 on youtube and it does seem like a proper step up from the i980 as it shows MB specific codes rather than the generic OBD ones. If I had known I would have got that instead. I think the first error code (p2133) is the main problem.
