I've got the estate, and absolutely love it. Sounds awesome, with the sports exhaust especially. Lovely place to sit, rapid and I think they look great, specially with the multi spoke wheels.

Maybe I just drive too much like a wuss! I don't think I hit 5000rpm very often. Hah!

Ah, ok, mine does that when stationary, but just don't get any pops on overrun when moving. I was hoping for more. My old cerbera used to pop away quite merrily for ages and I was wishfully hoping for something similar! Not that I'm disappointed with the noise in the slightest!!!

Interesting you say about the overrun cos my estate hardly does any pops on the overrun at all. Just a bit one when you change down and sometimes when shifting up on full throttle. I hoped it might start making more as I put the miles on but done 2500 now and not really changing much.

Totally not a helpful post, but having had two tvr's in the past, and now having a c63 estate, I'd say you can't go wrong! They have the sound and go of a Tvr, just with a bit more comfort. I'm absolutely loving mine!

You defo need to have a shop around mate, the first quote you've had is mental. Unfortunately can't help with anything around you as I'm in Manchester.
