Thanls for the reply. Can't seem to upload pics, files are too large. Set made up of 3 rears, 2 fronts. 1 rear has a couple of welds, one still needs a weld for a small crack. They do need a refurb and no tyres on them.

I'd like to leave something here, for some to ponder. Myself and my wife have got to go in to work in hospitals daily, to ensure that not only are our current patients dealt with, but that we are prepared for what is coming. That has meant back to back 70hr weeks for me and frankly, I've not...

I don't know if you're city or country based but round our neck of the woods (rural) local farm shops are delivering free of charge and there are community support groups helping with deliveries. The local supermarkets have been hit by locusts but these indies are stocked and supporting.

I'm a fan of a high miler. My CLS has just done 137000 and my Volvo has just done 180000. Both 15 years old and going strong. Hampshire old girls meet? :D There's a fair few good pubs about..........

Kind offer but not to worry, it's just one of those things. Noticed loss of steering controls after a full lock carpark manoeuvre. Wiggled back and forth a few times and it fixed itself. Then reappears after another full lock. Guessing something is loose or pinched. New spring was only £100, so...

It's gone a bit intermittently iffy again. I took the punt on a new clock spring, having seen your woes....... :D Having done these a few times on Renaults, I learned some of the same valuable lessons......:confused: Biggest regret for me? Renault ownership. :wallbash:
