I think you are right. Because you have no mechanical noise you tend to focus only on wide noise. Around town it is exceptionally quiet , one only notices the wind noise at speed.

Conversely early adopters are paying a fortune for new vehicles whose technology will soon appear in every car. We are paying to make a cleaner greener future for every one.

I agree about touch and feel. Nicer leather and plastics etc. However, the cars are almost silent and i think it was Chris Harris who said that any Tesla is quiter than an S class.
