yep got it, you can get MB part for £19 and this is just a plastic film to cover trim, not a lot of use as the corosion is obviously underneath. Thanks lads.

Feels like plastic when you tap it, are we talking about the correct trim, I mean the vertical exterior trim between the two doors.

Hi, Have rust bubble appearing on exterior B Pilllar trim in corner near glass and seal, how come as I thought they were plastic!. Any ideas to cure.:confused:
