guys in France on hols at the mo and drivers rear brake pads are rattling driving me mad!! Any easy fix?? No good at diy!

As above a set of split spoke alloys perfect cond no kerbing at all, centre caps, and a set of locking wheel nuts, front tyres 5 mm, rears 2 mm but included are 2 brand new rear tyres! All are conti contact sport 5!! All in all a perfect set of alloys and tyres, no bend or cracks, £500 cash on...

So a larger tyre wheel combo will do less revs than a smaller combo at same faster speed?

Ok so I had 225 45 17, now225 40 18 on the front so what’s the difference ?

Still would say larger wheel and tyre at higher speed less rotation = lower revs!

Larger wheels at higher speeds lower revs = less fuel,heavier wheels would make no difference at all imho, my 17’s as a split spoke have 12 spokes so could argue that they are heavier! But that I don’t know, smaller wheels at higher speed more revsmust again = more fuel?

Would say at low speed and from start off fuel would go up, but on long fastish runs fuel would come down??

Gaz, get some 17’s!! The difference is massive! But I know! the 7 spoke look so good!

Might be a good idea! Don’t know which is standard size for these cars as seen both sizes on them?
