Tricky, some of it is a bit of guess work, for instance it doesn't tell you to start the engine before the timing count down starts but you sort it out as you go along. Leaving it in the boot's a good idea, I've had such a problem I was thinking of leaving mine connected !! :-D

Soooo my icarsoft V 2.0 turned up today. I just followed the instructions on the screen and forced a regen on the drive. It then told me the car would regen again when driving. The cars running like a good'un now. Excellent advice to buy this piece of kit, thank you everyone :-)

Soooooo, I had the EML warning turned off this morning (Still waiting for my iCarsoft MB V2 to arrive) I've taken the car for a 30 run up the motorway and didn't observe or feel any sign of a regen, when I restarted the car the EML was back on again, I guess I'm looking at changing the DPF...

Paul, you can post right away, but there are certain things you can't do before 30 posts, like sending PM's (Private Messages) I guess this is to prevent advertising robots annoying members.

Thanks guys, Sooooo...... the plan is, get a iCarsoft MB V2. Reset, drive 30 miles (My drive to work) at motorway speeds. See if I get a Regen......... I'll report back and many thanks for your time Rob

Many thanks zipdip and AntMB, I'm/we're getting Fault code P24630 "The soot content of the DPF is not OK. There is a component fault." I'm told I can't do a regen if the EM light is on, so I want to try this before I get too deep in replacing sensors etc. So I want to Reset at a service...

Many thanks AntMB, My local indie (not MB) garage is as good as gold, although they get a lot of work from me, I feel just a bit guilty asking for favors I could do myself. Plus, the EM light comes back on before I've got out of town !! :-D
