I have a mysterious soft knocking on the front of my e320 and believe it might be the top mounts of the suspension, after having new springs fitted. My question is, how difficult is it to replace the mounts on my driveway.

Same with Mercedes Norwich. I need to book a courtesy car about 4 weeks in advance.

Can you explain how you got the jet out please ? Mine are the fine spray ones and, I live in a hard water area.

I have a w211 which has a what I would call a soft knock as it doesn't sound metallic when driving slowly over uneven roads. My indie guy says he couldn't find it so, called into another indie for a second opinion. He also says he couldn't find it although, he could hear it. It's driving me crazy.

More or less but, I've still got this dull knocking on the front which my Mecedes dealer can't seem to find. I'm sure he thinks I'm hearing things.
