It may be worth taking the car to garage that does laser wheel alignment ( not just simple tracking) I had mine done and it made a very noticeable improvement , cost £45.00 , if the car has been kerbed in the past it could easily be out.

Dont agree with that , its not that cold in the UK currently and the car should not need different tyres in above zero temperatures with no snow, my E350 behaves perfectly with low profile Pirelli Zero`s .

I paid £200.00 for a new belt and tensioner fitted on my E350 , independent garage. Dont run the car if you think your belt has snapped , it will fcuk something up.

Its not acceptable on a nearly new car ,even if they told you you can say you didnt realise it would be so bad , consumer law states goods have to be suitable for the purpose they are sold for , a late high end luxury car should have no issues , speak to trading standards if your dealer is not...

If the cooling system is pressurising theres every chance one of head gaskets is gone , compression testing should show which bank it is , however if youve overheated this engine it would be prudent to do both sides , change the water pump and radiator/hoses , a few £k I`m afraid.

Whats the total mileage ? youve probably heard many people say supermarket fuel is the same as the premium fuel ,I suspect you inlet manifolds will say different , short journeys and cheap fuel will cost dearly in the long run. If it was my car I`d fill up on Shell V-Power and go on a 200-300...

Thats not one I`d like to test in court ,modifying anything that has potential to make the car run differently be it better or worse would be the car manufacturers get out of jail free card.

I paid £260 + vat with an indy MB specialist ,this transmission service is logged on the official MB service data base.

Its now cured , I taken the air box off with the sensors in it and gave both sensors a blast of brake cleaner , it was quite oily in there , initially it did nothing but I left it overnight and all has been good since the following morning, no engine management light and full power.

Whats the going rate for a transmission service , fluid/filter change , on a E350 CDI 7 speed ?

It doesnt appear to have stop start which I`m please about ,one less thing to go wrong.

Where abouts in the boot? I cant see it , its not in the spare wheel well .

I`m going to change the battery on my 2011 E350 CDI Coupe , 3.0 Diesel as it appears to be the original one from new and the car has a few other issues , Do all of these models have an auxiliary battery ? if so where is it located on the coupe 3.0 diesel ? Do I need to keep a 12v supply...
