Thinking of moving to a C63 from an M4

Actually, a 2019 facelift will still have the great engine sound. It's only 2020 onwards that's muted...

Thinking of moving to a C63 from an M4

That's spectacularly good. I get around 8mpg around town in London traffic.

So, AMG owners, how’s your Fuel Consumption?

The newer phone app actually has a feature to show you everyone else's consumption and your own lifetime consumption on a bell curve compared to the population distribution for your specific vehicle. Mine (w205 c63 coupe) is 18mpg over 5,000 miles. It's a bit below the median but not hugely so...

    New Mercedes-AMG C63 confirmed as 650hp hybrid

I think ultimately that hydrogen will be the way to go, as the range/refueling part beats battery EVs hands down. But it's going to take a long time, 20 years or more, as there are several big hurdles to overcome: efficiency, production of green hydrogen and safety in the supply chain and...

    New Mercedes-AMG C63 confirmed as 650hp hybrid

Well, my finance contract on my 2019 C63 ends in 2 months. Despite absolutely loving the car, I've just put in an order for a M5 Competition. I don't care how much horsepower the new one has, I don't want an electrified 4-pot

Squeaking interior when going slow or over bumps C63 Coupe

I had exactly the same problem coming from apparently the same position. It sounded exactly like it was coming from the just behind the rear left passenger seat. It turned out to be a metal bracket somewhere in the boot that was connected to the bodywork and was not properly secured. The dealer...

Just saw this C63 review, I think I want one now!

It's a pussycat if you treat it with respect. Don't mash the pedal to the floor in bad conditions and you're fine. Even if you do that, the electronic nanny should catch it as long as you haven't turned it off. It makes me laugh every time I drive it. But the fuel consumption truly sucks...

    2019 C63 conundrum

Given that I won't keep the car longer than another two or three years at the outside, I'm not sure that this is a financially astute thing to do. Better to to finance a portion of the the balloon using another residual based finance deal, then sell it in two years..

    2019 C63 conundrum

Sure, but that's the conundrum. No other car really takes my fancy. They're all uninspiring.....I could just roll it over into a brand new C63 I guess, although there's the issue of the new version coming probably within the next year or so. Depends whether the balloon refinancing deal is...

    2019 C63 conundrum

Sure, yeah. Some more so than others though .... look at the resale price on a BMW M850i. Must be enough to make the owners weep...

    2019 C63 conundrum

Just saw a 2020 model white E63 with 710 miles on the clock advertised for £70k....that's pretty hefty depreciation

    2019 C63 conundrum

Certainly yes. The cheap ones all seem to have had 2 or 3 owners each....

    2019 C63 conundrum

Guaranteed minimum is currently a few thousand cheaper than the average one I can find currently listed on Autotrader. Although hard to judge, since these prices are just asks and not what they actually change hands for....

    2019 C63 conundrum

I have, but I'm not so enthused about the looks of a 4 door sedan. And it's a good £20k more expensive...

    2019 C63 conundrum

I'm coming to the end of my finance contract in June on my 2019 C63 coupe. It's a Mercedes Agility finance contract, so I have a number of options, but I'm not sure what to do.... I originally took it, deliberately, on a 2 year contract, since the new C63 was estimated to be arriving in the...
