I don't think that's the case otherwise why would these policies exist?

Has anyone got minor damage insurance that they've purchased rather than got it from the dealer? I'm looking at motoreasy or car2cover & would appreciate reviews/thoughts.

Mine just pulled out, no tools needed & unclip the plug. The replacements just plug in & pop back in the bottom of the door. Watch out though, the pins on the power connector weren't straight & needed tweaking to get the plug back in.

@GLK are the lights identical or is there a right & left? Mine arrived today but are identical. The projector part isn't central so drivers door will be slightly further forward than the passenger, not that you would notice but it looks like I may have been sent 2 x left or 2 x right in error.

Yup it's included, the casting is the pivot point.

Oh wow, they snapped the alloy casting :( You're going to have to remove the mirror from the door so you might as well replace the whole unit rather than trying to fix this one.

To check if yours is heated (it should be) start the engine & turn on the heated rear screen & fell the passenger mirror, it'll start to get warm quite fast. As for what's needed, can you post a larger pic?

One thing I'll say, don't get hung up on the pano roof. My Honda has one & I really wouldn't miss it if I didn't have it.
