Hi mate, it was surging a little before the whole MAF saga and continued after I fitted a Bosch one. I'm going to get it checked over in the next week as its running rich also.

I have recently changed the MAF for a brand new Bosch one, cost £138 or something. The surging is a real ****ter.

Hi guys, got any ideas on a W202 that surges badly in first and second but stops when its up to temperature? I'm stumped. It's a pain in the rear.

Hi all, Any ideas what damper, shock, belt tensioner is fitted to my C200 W202? Is it a relatively universal part? Found one on the EBay that is £25 and &35 from a dealer.

I have a 1998 W202 C200 and as of today, it has developed a squealing noise when sat in drive or reverse, not in neutral. It seems to be only when I'm not accelerating. I have recently given it a fresh lot of oil and a new filter but can't understand what is going on. Any ideas?

I have a W202 and the service history says it has a charcoal filter that has never been changed. What and where the hell is this?! Anyone else got one?

Just changed mine and I'm still getting a misting of the windscreen! Any ideas why? As soon as the fans come on, windscreen is misty.
